Content writing and editing
Newsletters: I have several years of experience sourcing and writing/editing content for newsletters covering topics such as company news, health and wellness, and regional/divisional sales results and highlights. In the past, I have used Microsoft Publisher and Adobe InDesign to complete the page layouts.
Blogs: I have extensive experience writing blog content for a variety of industries, often incorporating keywords to enhance SEO. My experience includes writing blogs for numerous law firms (as a freelancer) and blog posts for an industrial supply company (as an in-house communications specialist).
Web content: I have written and edited content for numerous websites, including facility descriptions for a recreational booking site and informational/sales content for a solar energy company. I have an understanding of UX best practices and design concepts.
Long-form articles: I got my start in writing as a journalist (my high school newspaper), and I still enjoy writing long-form articles. Some of my favorite writing projects were for print newspapers and magazines, including interviews and travel articles. I can even provide photography.
Copywriting and editing
Digital marketing: Need email marketing copy or social media posts? I’m an experienced social media manager on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. I also have experience using HubSpot and MailChimp to write and set up marketing emails.
Product specs/descriptions: When I worked in-house for an industrial supplier, I was responsible for editing product copy, and I also helped put together specialized product flyers.
Style guides: Lack a house style guide? I can do that, too! I can customize a style guide to reflect your organization’s preferences, using the Associated Press Stylebook as a guideline.
